For Your Connection and Configuration now need some rules…

  • First, Connect Your Mikrotik Router to Power. (Sometimes need for System up)
  • Add Uplink Connection with Ethernet Cable 
  • Open the Browser (anyone as you like)
  • Browse 192.168.88.1 
  • Login Router 

Configuration Mikrotik Router

Mikrotik Router Configuration time mind it, Mikrotik Router 

The default IP Address is 192.168.88.1

The default Username is admin

Password: No password

Port: Default Port Ethernet 1

    • Login Your Router

Configuration Router Interface

  • Click Interface
  • show Ether Port
  • Set interface name (for example ether1 = ISP 1, Ether2 = ISP2, Ether3 = LAN)
  • Apply 
  • OK

Configuration IP Address

Configuration ISP1 IP, support ISP1 provide IP 27.148.20.22 /30 and Network address 27.148.20.19

  • Click IP
  • Click “+” at Address list
  • provide ISP1 Real IP Address 27.148.20.22 /30
  • Set Network address 27.148.20.19
  • click on the interface link ”set ISP1 interface”
  • Apply 
  • OK

Configuration ISP2 IP, support ISP2 provide IP 134.148.20.22 /30 and Network address 134.148.20.19

  • Click IP
  • Click “+” at Address list
  • provide IS21 Real IP Address 134.148.20.22 /30 and 
  • Set Network address134.148.20.19
  • click on the interface link ” set ISP2 interface”
  • Apply 
  • OK

Configuration LAN = Local Area Network, For LAN Address choose From Private IP list any IP list. for example 

for Class-A 10.0.0.0 to 10.255.255.255

Class -B 172.16.0.0 to 172.31.255.255

Class C 192.168.0.0 to 192.168.255.255

  • Click IP
  • Click “+” at Address list
  • provide ISP1 Real IP Address 192.168.10.1/24
  • Set Network address 192.168.10.0
  • click on the interface link ”Set LAN interface”
  • Apply 
  • OK

DHCP Server Configuration

If You Configure a DHCP server, then Your Router to Assign IP Addresses to devices on your network. For assign Dynamic IP Address.

  • Login Router
  • IP 
  • DHCP Server
  • Click “DHCP”
  • Click ”+“
  • Assign Server Name
  • Assign Interface
  • Apply 
  • OK

Now set the DHCP Server

  • Click DHCP Setup
  • DHCP server Interface
  • Next
  • DHCP Address
  • Next
  • DHCP gateway add
  • Next
  • Add IP Address range
  • Next
  • Add DNS 
  • Next
  • Add Lease Time
  • Next 
  • OK

Now set up your DHCP Server completely.

Firewall Configuration in Mikrotik Router

Firewall Configuration needs to your Mikrotik router to assign firewall rules

  • Login Router
  • IP 
  • Firewall
  • Click NAT
  • Click ”+“
  • General 
  • Chain = “srcnat”
  • Src Address your LAN Address
  • Out. Interface = WAN interface select 
  • Click “Action”
  • Action = “masquerade” 
  • Apply  
  • OK
